Meditation is an art form. Depending on how we are arriving in the present moment, we may choose from a variety of meditation practices. There are practices for calming, practices for working with difficult emotions, practices for Love and kindness, practices for Self Compassion and many others. In addition to the various forms of meditation, the practice is enhanced by self discovery and creativity. In this class we explore making the practices our own.
Join us in the comfort of your home and immerse yourself in this profound art form led by experienced and certified mindfulness teachers, each one-hour session creates a serene online space for growth and self-discovery.
Session 1: Introduces meditation anchors, walking meditation, and body scan.
Session 2: Introduces working with difficult emotions: RAIN meditation practice: stopping (shamatha) and looking deeply (vipashyana)
Session 3: loving kindness practice.
