Mark your calendars—this is a first.
For the first time ever, members from IMP Cohorts 1 and 2 are gathering for a weekend retreat that brings together everything we’ve been learning in the Integrated Meditation Program with a new dimension: SHINE.
What is SHINE?
SHINE is a practice Amma developed to help us actively enhance positive qualities—love, joy, delight, connection, aliveness. It complements the deep healing work of IMP and the emotional inquiry of RAIN. As meditators, we often become skilled at being dukkha sniffers—noticing what’s painful or difficult. In this retreat, we’re making space for joy to be just as real, just as important.
Why This Retreat?
Healing isn’t complete when we’ve only processed our pain. Integration also means cultivating what feels good, what brings us alive, and what helps us delight in being here.
This retreat combines:
- IMP’s 3 pillars: collaboration, mentalization, and IPF support
- SHINE practices: enhancing positive mind states like joy, love, connection, and play
- Community connection: finally meeting members from both cohorts
Schedule Includes
- 🧘 Guided Meditation – Practices integrating IMP and SHINE
- 💬 Inquiry Circles – Building on the skills you already know
- 🎵 Movement & Play – Because joy lives in our bodies
- 🤝 Community Connection – Meeting your people, sharing your journey
Retreat Flow
We’ll move between stillness and movement, between depth and lightness, between individual practice and collective joy. This isn’t about forcing positivity—it’s about creating conditions where delight can naturally emerge.
