As we enter the U.S. election on Tuesday, November 5th, there’s an opportunity to turn inward with community that evening to access our purity of heart.
Equanimity is one of the four divine qualities of the heart we will explore together in a safely held space. Using the Awakening Truth Interactive Guidelines and Precepts for this Compassionate Witness Event, we will learn to integrate equanimity into our hearts relationship to each other. We will spend time in meditation, Dharma, and Compassionate Witness held in equanimous space with community.
We tend with care: the harmony of our hearts learning the art of holding space together in the silent circle of the Whole.

Teachers:
Brian Smith, Holly McClellan, and Kat Renee will be facilitating the evening, the event is hosted by Awakening Truth. Brian is an ordained member of the Order of Interbeing (OI) and a graduate of the MMTCP (Mindfulness Meditation Teaching Certification Program). Holly is a certified teacher (CMT-P) through the Engaged Mindfulness Institute and the International Mindfulness Teachers Association. Kat is a graduate of the Awakening Truth Women’s Facilitation Program, Authentic Relating Leadership Training, is a Certified Trauma-informed Coach, and has facilitated/led meditation with Insight Meditation Communities for over a decade.
