An Ongoing Hybrid Group with Amma Thanasanti
Meditation helps us become present to experience. Inquiry helps us become intimate with it.
Each gathering begins with a guided meditation, followed by a brief talk introducing a theme for exploration. We then break into small groups for inquiry practice, where participants explore their direct experience with the support of attentive listening and thoughtful questions. We return to the larger group for discussion, reflection, and questions.
Inquiry is a simple but powerful practice of turning awareness toward present-moment experience. Rather than analyzing, explaining, or telling stories, we explore what is actually happening in our body, heart, mind, and awareness right now. Over time, this practice can deepen meditation, increase self-understanding, and reveal new possibilities for insight and growth.
All levels of experience are welcome.
This group is offered in a hybrid format, with participants joining both in person and online. If you are comfortable with Zoom and breakout rooms, we’d welcome a volunteer to help support online participants. To join online, please register at the top of this page to receive the Zoom connection details.
This group is offered by donation. You’re invited to contribute as generously as feels genuine, heartfelt, and sustainable for you.
