Aura Glaser, Ph.D. is a dharma teacher and clinical psychologist who integrates spiritual, psychological, and embodiment work. She began practicing Buddhism in India in the late 1970s and for over thirty years has studied Tibetan Buddhism, Vipassana, and inner yoga with the great masters of Asia. She is a co-founder of Jewel Heart, an international Tibetan Buddhist organization.
In recent years she’s felt called to reach beyond the framework of tradition and to teach and practice in a post-traditional context. Her work spans Buddhism, depth and transpersonal psychology, inner-body somatics, and nondual meditation. She teaches meditation as part of a process of inner exploration, where we learn to integrate heart, mind, and body to experience our natural state of wisdom and love.
Aura trained with Judith Blackstone and is certified to teach Realization Process Subtle Self Work and Realization Process Meditation. Aura is the author of “A Call to Compassion: Bringing Buddhist Practices of the Heart into the Soul of Psychology.” She is the creator and original owner of Crazy Wisdom Bookstore in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
